Privacy note
Last updated 20 October 2026. This note covers this website and the tester signup form.
What we store from the form
- Your first name and email address.
- Your answers: Windows version, whether WSL is set up, how you heard about us, and the optional questions.
- The campaign tags in the link you arrived from (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), if there were any.
- When you signed up and agreed to beta emails, and whether you got a tester place or a waitlist place.
- A salted, one-way hash of your IP address, kept for up to 24 hours only to stop automated spam signups.
Why
- To pick testers who meet the requirements and send them an install link.
- To email you about the beta, including when a waitlist place opens.
- To understand where people hear about Shinoque and what they would pay, in aggregate.
We don't sell your details, share them with advertisers, or use them for anything else.
What this site doesn't do
No cookies, analytics, ad pixels or trackers. The demo video loads from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) only after you press play. Our web host and database provider process standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and secure the service.
Where it's kept and for how long
Signups are stored in a hosted database (Supabase) and can be read only by us. We keep them until the beta ends, then delete them within 12 months, or sooner if you ask.
Delete, correct or see your details
Email hello@shinoque.com from the address you signed up with. We'll do it within 30 days and confirm by email. To stop beta emails, reply "unsubscribe" to any of them.
The Shinoque app
Shinoque stores your mail, files and notes on your PC. A few things leave it: what the agent reads is sent to your AI provider (Claude or ChatGPT) under your own account so it can do its work, and the services you connect, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Telegram or WhatsApp, are reached over the internet. Optional connected features, such as the code workspace (SoluTerminal) or cloud sync for notes, keep their data with that service when you turn them on.
Shinoque's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Shinoque does not use Google user data to develop, improve or train AI or machine-learning models.
